the first month in an fmcg company...

unlike a lot of other companies, we had a month long HO induction...

people from all over the building, including hr, finance, legal, it, quality (GSK has a separate quality department thats not a part of production btw), production ( or global manufacturing services) all took us through the grinds of their objectives, org structure (whom to contact for what, though i must admit ive quite forgoten a lot of the names), what they do and how it concerns us on the field...

then came the time with r&d, a really passionate bunch of people doing jobs that i once had a passion for (measuring, testing, meters, labs, the works) who come up with such meticulous work, its totally amazing...

and then the marketing stint, the brands seem to be doing brilliantly, its probably one of the few companies where all the brands are well known in the market...

and then the big boys from sales came over to tell us what we were getting into...

over the next few months, ill spend time in the wierdest parts of the world trying to sell stuff that already sells brilliantly...

over the last month, i have grown to like this company quite a bit, the people i met with, the general managers all perfectly fit the label of jim collins's level 5 leaders... anyways... i seem to think ill want to retire from this company, hopefully things go brilliant...
